Neat
Neat is a Norwegian technology company that designs video meeting devices for modern workplaces, from small huddle rooms to large boardrooms. Its products are known for minimal Scandinavian design, and the brand works with partners and customers around the world, including Australia.
For a company focused on how people connect and collaborate, pickleball is a fitting choice. It is a sport built on doubles, communication, and a bit of friendly competition.
The Design Process
Neat's brand is minimal and precise, so the design kept the paddle face clean and let the logo do the work.
- Design consultation. We worked with the Neat team to place their logo and brand colours across the paddle face so the finished product looked unmistakably theirs.
- Mockup review. A digital mockup was shared for approval before anything went into production, so the team could sign off on the exact finished look.
- Production. Each paddle was built to the same specification as our retail range, with a polypropylene honeycomb core and quality face material, so it plays as well as it looks.
- Delivery. Paddles were delivered ready for the event, with the team coordinating from Norway.
The finished result was a paddle that looked like it belonged in Neat's product family.
