GemLife and the Over-50s Lifestyle Resort Model
GemLife is one of Australia's largest over-50s lifestyle resort operators, with communities across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. Residents own their home and lease the land it sits on, with no exit fees and no stamp duty, and each resort is built around health, wellness, and low-maintenance living.

The Design Process

- Design consultation. We worked with the GemLife team to reflect their brand colours and logo across the paddle face, keeping the finish consistent with the resort aesthetic.
- Mockup review. A digital mockup was shared for approval before production, so the team could see the finished paddle ahead of time.
- Production. Each paddle was built to the same specification as our retail range, with a polypropylene honeycomb core and quality face material, so residents get a paddle that plays as well as it looks.
- Delivery. Paddles were delivered ready to be handed out or stocked in resort clubhouses for residents to use.
The finished result was a paddle residents were proud to play with, carrying the GemLife brand onto the court.
